Brunswick Men's Cruiser Bowling Shoes (Black, 13) Review

I'm a beginner bowler, and this was the first bowling shoe I have owned. I bowl quit often using this shoe, for long periods of time, but I cant compare it to other bowling shoes so I'll just put down some of my thoughts.

1st: I think the slide on this shoe is less than that of the house shoes I have wore in the past. This can be a good or bad thing depending on your bowling style. For me personally, it doesnt have the slide I want, nor did it have it when fresh out of the box. When I release the ball, there is a lot of pressure on my left knee because of the lack of slide.

2nd: When I bowl, its usually a marathon session of 5-15 games over 1-2 hours. When I'm on my feet that much, these shoes hurt a lot. I was in the military, so long sessions of standing up are not exactly new to me, but even short sessions in these shoes will leave you looking for a chair.

3rd: The air flow in these shoes is pretty bad. I'm not really known for smelly feet, but I am after wearing these. Your feet will sweat in these, if you dont have a way to clean shoes, be prepared for the smell. Also due to the sweating some of the skin would rub off on my toe, but this has gone away with wear.

These are bowling shoes, you are not going to be walking around all day in them, but these are some things I thought worthy of attention. If you are a casual bowler that is looking for a cheap shoe without much slide these will work just fine, but if you are serious about your playing and play as much as I do, or you want some good slide, you may want to look for something else.
