This is a very light weight racing flat which I have worn for a half marathon, clocking my personal best. With this, I also met my training goal of under 25 mins for 5 km. Due to the thin sole and limited cut, I am using it purely for races or trial races. Another pair of trainer (ASICS DS Trainer 15) is used for normal mileages.

Nice striking color combination, glows nicely during the dusk runs.

The cutting/sizing of this model is a little smaller than the usual running shoes. I need to wear thin socks as my little toe was a little squashed when a pair of thick socks was worn during the said half marathon. If you are used to wearing thick socks, try to get half a size larger, or try it out at the store if you can help it.

If you're a half or full marathoner and your legs start to feel tired toward the end of a run, these socks are hands down the best compression socks you can find. I have 3 pair! While I was hesitant to pay $50-$60 for a pair of socks in the beginning, they last and I can't imagine running a long race without them. I've heard great things about compression stockings and figured I would buy top of the line.
Turns out that since the sock has a design in it, it has 2 different colored fabrics sewn into it.
Everything looks smooth and pretty on the outside but on the inside it isn't smooth at all thanks to the 2 different colored fabrics.
I didn't realize this so I went out for a 7.5 mile run as soon as I got these. and I came home with blisters all over my feet from the uneven interior.
My legs felt great after so the compression part is ok but my feet were torn up so that just lets me know I wasted a lot of money.
I contacted CEP customer service on their website but haven't gotten a response so I guess they don't care that they have a poor product out there.

First off-i am not a runner. i never ran a day in my life before i started training for my first 1/2 marathon in july of 2010 (the 1/2 marathon was in october 2010). During training, i never had any real issue, some soreness, but nothing too terrible. On race day, i put my best effort in, finished my first 1/2 marathon, and then spent the rest of the day trying to get my legs to feel like more than two stumps i was supposed to walk around on.

fast forward to my 2nd 1/2 marathon in may 2011. i had done some research and (thanks to runners world) read up on compression socks. i found these on amazon, and despite cringing slightly over the cost, shelled out the money and purchased them. let me just say-i would pay 3 times what i did for how great i felt after my 2nd 1/2 marathon! yes, i was still a little sore, but instead of feeling like a 90 year old that had gotten hit by a truck and then rolled down a hill, i felt like a normal person who just happened to run a 1/2 marathon that day.

these socks are a great investment. they definately help, both during the race and afterwards. I also have ITBS and normally wear bands to help with it, but with the compression socks i found that i can just wear the socks and still feel great. i can't wait to buy another pair for my next 1/2 marathon in october 2011 in florida!!
