If you have kids involved in sports, chances are you are going to be looking for a portable chair after the first or second practice. We have gone through our share of typical "folding chairs" much like Coleman XL Broadband Quad Chair and they were certainly better than nothing. However, they can be like sitting in a sling and getting out of them can be an awkward experience -- particularly if they are lower to the ground.

So this season, I decided to look for something more supportive and durable and found this chair. At the time, it only had 2 reviews -- both 5 star reviews so I gave it a shot. I tried it out tonight and I'm very happy.

This chair -- especially compared to the more widely available folding chairs are -- is very solid with an aluminum frame. The feet don't sink into the muddy ground which makes you feel much more secure. You have much more back support and sitting down and getting up maintains your dignity. The arms are comfortable (though the rubber cover kind of smells like tires but that is a small price to pay.

Setting up and taking down is a breeze and you don't have to worry about wrestling the thing back into a bag ... which is great when you are trying to get out of there quickly in the pouring rain.

Carrying it is not quite as convenient as a folding chair because you can't just throw it over your shoulder like a sling. But it is very lightweight and easy to carry and that is a small price to pay. I highly recommend this chair because as a portable folding chair, it comes as close to feeling like a "real" chair than any other folding chair I had found up until now.

Mammut Skywalker 2 Climbing Helmet (Orange, One Size) Review

OK, I've only used the helmet once so far, but I really like it. I use it for caving and am coming from using Petzl Ecrin Roc helmets for years. This Mammut fits closer to the head, is lighter in weight, and has a very nice cushy interior. The straps are comfortable (much more than I've found the elios to be) and easy to adjust. The headlamp anchors are well placed and seem sturdy.

The only thing that I don't like about the helmet is in no way applicable to most users. I perform cave research and am required to decontaminate my equipment between each cave and the soft, open cell material on the strap and harness are more difficult to decontaminate. Regardless, it's worth it for a long day underground as this helmet is much more comfortable on my noggin than any other helmet I've tried (mostly Petzl products).

These shoes look great, and they're pretty comfortable I've walked to work in them (3 1/2 miles) with no problem. However, after 4 days or so they started squeaking with every step. Not just mild squeaking- over-done, foley-type squeaking! I spent half the day at work, walking on my the balls of my feet to avoid embarrassment, and won't be wearing them again, unless I can solve the squeaking problem.

**UPDATE**

After a few rounds of baby powder inside the shoes to silence the squeaking (which would initially disappear for 3 or 4 days before retuning), the squeak is now gone! I've been wearing the shoes for eight months with no more problems. Verrrry comfortable shoes!

I have this same shoe in black in the (Pace?)Glove line and it is nothing like this AWFUL shoe. The other one I have is soft, flexible, and felt great from the moment I put them on.

These....these horrible shoes felt stiff and cheap right away. I foolishly assumed they'd soften with wear. Nope. Stiff, cheap fabric has worn blisters on my toes the first hour.

Run away from Stretch Glove and run to the other Merrell Glove shoes...I love the others. They feel like second skin.

Columbia Men's Bahama II Long Sleeve Shirt, 2X/Tall, Collegiate Navy Review

I know this is probably made for warm weather fishing, but I bought this shirt as a second layer that I put over a performance t-shirt. I use it for hiking and hunting in both summer and fall. I put in a lot of miles while hiking so I prefer to have 2 layers of moisture control fabric on before I add any cooler weather garment so I can better regulate my body temperature. I also like to have a button up shirt with a collar so my binoculars do not rub on my neck as much. I am 6 ft tall and pretty thin but I do have long arms so I bought the Large Tall size. I am right in the middle of a Regular Large/Large Tall and the sleeves on this came in a little long but I would rather have a little extra length than have the sleeves too short. The material wears well, I use a fanny pack that rides up onto the shirt a little and I have seen no unusual wear on the shirttail. The shirt is a little hard to keep wrinkle free so I don't think you can wear it out socially but after you wear it for a while it starts to lose the wrinkles. Do not touch this shirt with an iron, it is easy to melt this fabric. I have two of these and I somehow put a hole in one but it did not run or expand over time which is great. I shopped in many other outdoor clothing stores but Amazon had the best price. Overall this is a great product for those looking for this type of shirt, I have had mine for 2 years and am very happy with their performance.

I really love these shoes and have several pairs, regular and just got the climashield. Really helped my plantar fasciitis flare up. I have custom orthotics in them, but even without them, they seem to have good arch support and hold your heel in place nicely. Very roomy toe box as well. Some say they run big, but I have found them true to size (though my orthotics take up a little extra room). Fun color choices as well. And after adjusting a little, I am finding the no tie laces pretty nice and convenient.
