I chose this particular camelbak for several reasons. First it's the updated version of the Annadel, which is a women's specific design. I also wanted something that would be good for both long runs and hikes. The Dart has exceeded almost all my expectations.

I've used this on several 13+ mile runs (up to 20 miles) and it has more than enough water for my needs. It has a small zippered pocket at the bottom that stores several small items such as a cell phone, keys, shot blocks, and other fuel. There's an additional zippered pocket that runs along the back of the pack that can hold some smaller items.

I tried to fold up a wind breaker and use it in this pocket but I found that it bulged in an uncomfortable way and somehow pinched the tubing of the camelbak. Therefore, I don't really use this lengthwise pocket now for much except smaller items - keys, phone, lip balm - and instead use the rounded pocket at the end for run fuel or snacks.

The camelbak itself is very easy to access, clean, fill, and empty. The line with the sip at the end tends not to sit perfectly flat but I never noticed this being an issue and the sip end sits in a mesh pocket pretty well and doesn't slip. The pack sits well and molds nicely to my back without being too big or unwieldy. When running I tend to get minor chafing but as any runner knows, that's to be expected. While hiking I find it very nice and lightweight.

Overall it's an easy product to recommend.
