I'll preface this by saying I don't think it's a bad product per se. It's a comfortable, well fit jacket on me.

The problem is that there really wasn't enough information provided, specifically the lack of any pictures of the back of the jacket. The thick foam continues on the back panel. Now this may have been okay with older styles of kayak seats, but on my yak I have the newer flip open seat with straps holding it open. The problem is that the thick foam back of the vest rests in an uncomfortable position on the seat, and likes to ride up my back as the seat forces it upwards. There is no way to have the foam back rest on the seat in a normal way and still wear the jacket correctly.

So in the end I sold this to a friend and bought a different jacket where the foam is further up the back. Granted it was more expensive then this product.

I fully admit my stupidity on buying this before being sure it would match my seating, but I think it's important to post this info.
