After a couple trips I noticed the screws that hold the seat to the pedestal base were coming loose and would not tighten back up to my satisfaction. So I removed the cushion(pretty simple) and drilled a 1/4 inch hole through all 4 screw holes. I then put a bolt through each hole and bolted them sumabit##s down. They should have came like this in the first place. I simply reattached the cushion after installation and that was it. I have 3 seats in my boat and they are rock solid now. I think I paid around $40 a piece and maybe $5 for the extra hardware to fix. Took about 5 minutes to fix each seat. Now I'm happy again.
