I think this is a very good headlight. I just started using it in the autumn 2013. I ride my bike early in the morning before sunrise when there is still dark and I prefer to use the flashing mode which makes me more visible. Few things brought my attention: first, I can see the road ahead me pretty well, second, the traffic lights more than 500 feet ahead of me also shine intermittently reflecting the light in such way that cars coming behind me also can see the same phenomenon. Third, I also can see how cars coming in the front can see me from the distance and lower their high beams to low beams from 500 feet or even farther. It is also very easy to install and remove.
