I haven't hiked in these yet, but I put them on when they arrived and the fit is perfect. I ordered my usual pant size and it worked out great. I'm so glad to find them with short sizes. They fold up very small. The built in belt is an excellent feature. I highly recommend these based on fit and price so far. If I find anything I don't like, I'll be sure to update.
