I Never liked how the zig sole design looked when they first hit the stores years back, even though I'm a Reebok loyalist. After reading the reviews I finally decided to go with these zig running shoes after my Nike triple shocks running shoes started letting go at the tip of the shoe, and part of the rubber sole came off the bottom of one of the "shocks". I only tried these on for a few minutes the other day and found them to feel bigger / roomier at the front and back than I am accustomed to (size 8.5). I had a thin pair of socks on, so it might be a bit more snug with thicker socks. They walk and run very very nice though. The cushioning is amazingly soft. I would normally travel with my nike's due to lots of walking with backpacks / baggage in airports, etc., but this pair will make walking really comfortable. Running on my treadmill will be great too. Although I'm a bit wary of how long the bonding with the zigs and the shoe base will last. I usually frequent playground type surfaces at outdoor events- and I can see these would be a b!tch to clean when dirt and mud gets in.

Agree with the laces becoming loose - but I intend to counter that by tying a double knot, or changing the lace altogether.
