These are very nice gloves in the sense that they are beautifully made, ergonomically good, with nice feel but they are not good enough for our freezing Minnesota winters. They are good for about 5 mins. then you start feeling the cold and begin losing function of your fingers not long after that.
I'd say that they are fall-early winter gloves but that is about how far as I would go; YMMV.
