The blade is huge and very very heavy,much heaver than other cs products but the handle is light.Caution use two hands to close even so its easy to open with one you may be left with just one if you try and close this while holding th handle and useing gravity to close it if you have any digits in the way the last 20 percent of travel of the blade to close become under mechanical tension to the locking roller action,unfortunatly I discovered this quirk the hard way and its a nice deep finger cut right by the nail.the grip on this handle is good and it allows you to choke down on the handle and extend your reach as though you were useing a 7 inch fixed blade.it had a post on both sides and easy to open but its under your power to open it.I plan on getting the Espada as well but the sizes are diffrent on it I need just a large to get 5.5 inches of blade on this one you need the XL to get 5.5 inches weird.someone correct me if that is wrong
